8-12yrs Adventure Session (Canoeing) (2)

Designed for children and young people who are home schooled. This is a fully supervised adventure experience at Talkin Tarn Country Park.

Planned Activity: Canoeing

Note: this may change, subject to the weather. Alternatives include Archery, Orienteering, Woodland Skills.

This activity session is suitable for ages 8-12yrs and will be fully supervised by our experienced, friendly outdoor leaders.

Please let us know on the booking form if your child has any special medical, accessibility or SEND requirements.

Wear sensible clothing and footwear, and remember warm clothing, coats, hats, etc.. For water based days you will need to bring a FULL CHANGE OF CLOTHES, towel, and spare shoes. Old trainers or water shoes are best, no sandals, crocs or wellies.

Upon booking, you will receive an automated email confirmation, please check your junk folder if this doesn't arrive straight away.

The instructors taking care of your children all hold an enhanced DBS check and are first aid trained. They are very experienced in working with young people and are suitably qualifed for the activities that they will be running. Talkin Adventures holds an AALA licence with HSE. Provider reference: R2398.

Parents/Carers are very welcome to leave your child with us, spend the time exploring the country park or enjoy a warm drink at the tea room. 

Cancellations with less than 7 full days notice will only be refunded if the place is filled.
