Open Kayak Experience

Try Kayaking with Talkin Adventures. This open beginner session is ideal for those looking to try something new on the water. As an open event, there will be other people on your session. If you would prefer a private session please click here.

Suitable for ages 10 to adult, we will show you everything you need to know to get you out on the water. Our instructor will be there every step of the way to guide you on a journey and offer helpful tips and advice to help you improve and get to grips with this exciting activity. We use high quality Wavesport Scooter Sit on top kayaks to provide an ideal introduction to the sport. Younger children are welcome to join the session in a tandem kayak with an adult, please contact us to arrange this beforehand.

We recommend that you wear comfortable sports clothing and shoes that you are happy to get wet. Bring a change of clothes and a towel. Changing rooms and showers are available for you to use if you need them. All participants will be provided with a buoyancy aid, which must be worn on the water. Our largest buoyancy aid is a PeakPS XXL, suitable for up to 130cm chest/110kg.
