All of our team days are completely bespoke, centred around your exact requirements and desired outcomes from the day. It can often be difficult to come up with ideas for staff days out that are exciting, engaging… and also give something back to you as a business, with our wide range of activity options we are sure that all of your expectations will be surpassed.

The practical situations that our activities create for your team allow each individual to shine and natural leaders to emerge.

The benefits of a team away day are quickly seen as staff members are able to build trust and stronger professional relationships. Opportunities to come together for a meeting or team bonding day are more important than ever in this time of home or hybrid working, with teams based at different locations across the country.

Your event may primarily be designed as a reward or motivator, but you will soon see the benefits to team relationships, communication, and cooperation, along with a whole host of factors that lead to increased productivity and success.

Our relaxed approach allows freedom within the structure of your day to maximise these benefits. Our activities are designed to be fully inclusive and set everyone on a level playing field to see each other as equals. This is important for team cohesion and will allow you to make observations to help with appraisals and the setting of personal targets in the workplace.

LEADERSHIP AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

We are keen to work with you to create a package that meets your objectives. If you are looking for a valuable experience to boost morale and give quality training to your team, let us know, and we can arrange a chat.

We work with some very experienced coaches, focusing on Business Management, Leadership, Workplace Relationships, and Confidence; using established techniques, in conjunction with bespoke outdoor activities.

Your package will be created around your goals. It all begins with a conversation about your experiences with your team, and your hopes, in terms of team well-being, working relationships, leadership styles, increased productivity, and increased efficiency.

As your package is bespoke for you, we may visit you on-site or a venue of your choosing, arrange a residential package at one of our partner venues, or simply welcome you at our base, Talkin Tarn Country Park. This could range from a stand-alone activity, to an intensive retreat with follow-up training.

There were various stages of confirmation during my planning due to the nature of our operations which Darren accommodated with efficient and timely responses. Every year I arrange an away day for our staff and volunteers, usually around 60 of us. Finding something that everyone can get involved with is no easy job. I contacted Darren a few months back after a random google search, and it's possibly one of the best things I ever did when it comes to arranging these days. His knowledge, support and flexibility (as we can be quite hard work) was amazing! He remained in constant contact throughout the whole process and planned a full day that all of us (even the serial moaners amongst us) enjoyed. The only complaint I heard was how cold the Tarn was. As the day came to an end Darren told me he has already had thoughts on next years activity and true to his word an email landed first thing Monday morning. If you are ever set the task of arranging your staff day, I cannot recommend Darren enough. From the moment we first spoke with each other to the moment we stepped back on the coach was flawless. Darren and his team are brimming with energy & passion for what they do which is both infectious and admirable. We're very much looking forward to working with him again next year (?). Thank you Darren!
